Weaving with Nature
This visual meditation practice is a way for me to deepen my relationship with the natural world through the slow, mindful process of weaving with natural fibers with nature that speak to me. This is a practice of intimacy for me, of getting really close and listening, paying attention to subtleties and opening up my sense of wonder and awe at the natural world and how deeply we are woven together, that my body is not separate from nature, after all. We are one. I have tree rings in my fingertips, I breathe with the trees, I have rivers and oceans inside my bodyā¦this practice has helped me remember who I actually am- an animal, a creature of this earth.
