In this episode of the Deep Rooted Healing podcast, I share how I discovered slow stitching and how healing and meditative it is for me. I also share how I create my fabric meditation books full of slow stitching that I create out of repurposed fabrics and textiles. I find inspiration in Japanese boro textiles and Indian Kantha blankets. I hand stitch with cotton sewing threads, Japanese sashiko threads, and Japanese Kogin embroidery threads.
