Working with crystals during Reiki sessions

I use crystals during every Reiki session and Multidimensional Energy Healing Session and love them so much. I remember last year when I suddenly had this feeling that I wanted to explore crystals more but felt overwhelmed by all of the information out there about them and how many kinds there are. I wasn’t sure where to begin. Then I decided to go to a crystal shop in my town and see which ones I felt drawn to. There were a few, so I bought them and started to keep them around my space. I noticed that during certain sessions, I would suddenly feel like I wanted to place one on or near the client’s body. I didn’t know why, but the urge was strong so I followed it. Inevitably, something that the client shared ended up connecting with that crystal in some way and what I sensed it was helping with.

From there I kept going, adding crystals here and there as I feel drawn to them. I will often look up what others have said about a certain crystal only after I have noticed what I feel it can help with. And they always match up! It’s amazing to me.

Selenite has become a favorite crystal to work with. The energy of it feels very soft, peaceful and gently powerful to me and I see it in my mind as pure white light when I use it. I am most guided to use it after I am guided to clear out energy from somewhere in or around the body, then I often wave selenite in that area and sense it is filling in the space with pure, healing energy. The wand is the one I use for that and the palm stones I usually place on the body or on the table before the client arrives and leave them there for a while until I feel the nudge to move them.

It’s amazing how the energy of crystals can impact our bodies and biofields/auras. Since we are made of energy and crystals are minerals from the earth that are made of energy, it makes sense that they could impact our energy systems just like plants do. I love researching the science behind crystals so I can understand more clearly what they are and what they are doing when we place them close to us. They have scientific qualities that have been studied and measured but they also have mystical qualities. I find the blend of the two fascinating.
